Game 1

The Hawks bats came alive in game 1 of today's double header against Santa Rosa. The Hawks as a team had 12 hits while Ashleigh Berg only gave up 5 hits.

The scoring opens up in the bottom of the 2^nd inning when Cassandra Thomas lays down a bunt scoring Cecilia Rivera.

Cecilia Rivera is able to knock in a run in the bottom of the third on a single to right that scores Ashlee Kaiser. Hawks Leading 2-0.

With the bases full of Hawks and a 1-0 count Ashlee Kaiser hits a grand slam! Hawks now lead 6-0.

The Hawks are able to push 1 more run across in the bottom of the 7^th when Taelor Ford singles in Amber Wright Hawks lead 7-0 going into the 7^th.

Ashleigh Berg closes out the game with a strike out. On the day Ashleigh Berg gave up 5 hits, 1 walk, struck out 1 and gave up no runs.

Game 2

Game two was a different story for the Hawks

In the first inning Santa Rosa jumped on top scoring 2 runs on a bases loaded double.

The Hawks looking to come back score 1 run on a ground out to 2^nd scoring Amber Wright. Top of 2 SRJC 2 CRC 1

The score remains the same till the bottom of the 5^th inning when Veronica Smith singles driving in Amber Wright and Korina Krueg. Following up Taelor Ford singles to center scoring Ashlee Kaiser. SRJC 2 CRC 4

Santa Rosa score 1 run in the top of the 6^th on a passed ball.

Gabrielle Montaie goes the distance giving up 7 hits, striking out 4 walking 0 and only giving up 2 earned runs.
