Berg's dominant performance shuts down Sac City’s Offense

The Hawks traveled to Sacramento City to continue their busy spring break schedule.

Scoring started in the bottom of the 2nd inning when City successfully lays down a squeeze bunt taking the 1-0 lead.

The Hawks bats came alive in the top of the 3rd inning when Cassandra Thomas doubles, Amber Wright singles and Korina Krueg is intentionally walked. With the bases loaded and nobody out Ashlee Kaiser singles to center knocking in two runs.

The score remains the same till the 5th inning when the Hawks are able to push 1 more run across on a Veronica Smith double that scores Korina Krueg.
