Game 1 CRC 9 DVC 0

In the top of the first inning Amber Wright leads off the game with a single to center.  Korina Krueg moves Wright over on a sacrifice bunt. With 1 out Ashlee Kaiser singles scoring Wright. With Ashlee Kaiser and Veronica Smith on 1^st and 3^rd Taelor Ford singles driving in the 2^nd run of the inning.

In the bottom of the 1^st inning Gabrielle Montaie strikes out her first 2 of the day.

The score remain 2-0 till the 5^th inning when the Hawks bats came alive. Leading off the inning is Ashlee Kaiser with a single and Taelor Ford following it up with another single. With two outs Hannah Flynn comes up with the big hit driving in Kaiser. Designated hitter Saenn Powell doubles knocking in two more runs for the hawks. An error by DVC's third baseman extends the inning. With Cassandra Thomas on 1^st and Powell on 3^rd Amber Wright singles scoring Powell. Still with two out and 2 runners on Korina Krueg singles driving in Thomas. Ashlee Kaiser is up again in the inning and able to get her 2^nd hit of inning scoring Wright.

Hawks lead 9-0 going into the bottom of the 5^th and needing to close out the game Montaie has to pitch around 2 walks but is able to close out the game.

Gabrielle Montaie pitched 5 innings, giving up 3 hits, 4 walks, striking out 6 and giving up 0 runs.

Game 2 CRC 5 DVC 6

Game 2 is a completely different story for the Hawks. Dispute having 12 hits the scoring is held to a minimum.

DVC is able to jump on top in the 1^st inning scoring 3 runs. The Hawks are able to get 1 run back on a Amber Wright single that scores Seann Powell.  Once again in the 4^th inning DVC scores 2 more runs. With DVC leading 5-1 the Hawks bring Gabrielle Montaie into the game to help minimize the damage.

CRC is able to drive in one more run in the 6^th inning when Veronica Smith leads off the inning with a triple. Smith is then driven in on a sacrifice fly from Taelor Ford. Hawks still trailing -5-2

Needing to battle in the 7^th the Korina Krueg singles with 1 out and is driven in by Ashlee Kaiser who homers cutting the lead to 5-4. Not to waste any time Veronica Smith follows Kaiser with a solo blast to left field giving us a tied ball game. Unfortunately for the Hawks they cannot score anymore runs.

In the bottom of the 7^th DVC leads off with a hit, a stolen base and an error by the Hawks leads to a runner at 3^rd with no outs. Not wasting time DVC follows it up with a bleeder hit just out of the reach of our 2^nd baseman and right fielder.

Ashleigh Berg Started the game going 3.2 innings giving up 5 hits, 2 walks, striking out 1, and giving up 4 earned runs.

Gabrielle Montaie came in relief pitching 2.1 innings giving up 3 hits, walking 0, striking out 3 and giving up 1 run.
