ROCKLIN (2-14) - The Hawks hit the road as they took on Sierra College in Rocklin. The Wolverines would outscore the Hawks by eighteen in the second half en route to an 81-56 win.

In the first half, the Hawks displayed their man to man defense for the first time this season. It proved well for them as they kept it close with the Wolverines. As the Hawks have shown all season, what they may lack in numbers they make up for in heart and hustle. The Hawks and Wolverines scored fourteen points apiece in the second quarter as the Wolverines led 29-22 at halftime.

In the second half, the Hawks tried to keep up the pace. Foul trouble began to hurt the Hawks they found themselves down 57-41 at the end of the third quarter. The Hawks kept the pressure on ending the game with fourteen steals but shot only 22% from the field.

Brookelyn Larkin lead all scorers with twenty-four points (10-14 from the line) and chipped in five rebounds, five steals and four assists. Arianna Santos pulled down twelve rebounds while Arionna Butts and Sheniah Castex both had eight points. 

The next game for the Hawks is Tuesday as they took on American River College. Tipoff is at 5:30 pm. The game will mark Sophomore Night.
