Sacramento, Calif. ---- The Cosumnes River Hawks (5-9) took on the Las Positas Hawks (5-10) in a non conference game at home on Friday night. The Hawks played great on the defensive end of the floor, holding Las Positas to on only 45 points as well as forcing 38 turnovers. Cosumnes also was able to get 29 steals in the game. 

CRC was lead offensively by a host of Hawks, with 4 player with double figures. The Hawks had standout performances from freshmans Sarah Hinton who had 15 points and 7 assists. As well as freshman point guard Briley Jordet, who had 9 points, 5 assists, and 7 steals. Suraya Cabrera had 12 points as well as Chelsey Shirle, who tallied her 9th double double with 12 points and 19 rebounds. Kiara Jones chipped in 16 monster points and 7 rebounds. 

The Hawks look to their next game against American River, which is a conference game that will be at home on Friday January 3rd.
