Sophomore Griffin Harrison had two home runs in their Big 8 Conference series opener against American River College last week and was named as Hawk of the Week for the week of April 1st-7th, 2024.

The Vacaville, California native averaged .571 (8-14) at the plate with six runs scored, eight RBI, two stolen bases and three home runs in the three game series against the Beavers. The Hawks won the three game series 2-1 as the Hawks won game one 16-11 at Conway Field on Tuesday, lost 14-8 in Sacramento on Thursday and won the rubber match 14-3 on Friday at Conway Field.

Harrison is 12th in the CCCAA in doubles (13), 18th in games played (33), 20th in strikeouts (34) and 24th in hit by pitch (12)
