A BIG HAWK WELCOME TO OUR NEW CRC MEN'S BASKETBALL COACH, DEVIN AYE!!!July 02, 2015Devin Aye will be starting his fourth season as a collegiate head coach at Cosumnes River College this fall. Aye comes from Lassen College where he inherited a program in April 2012 that had won a total of 3 games combined the previous two seasons.

MEN'S BASKETBALL SEASON IN REVIEWMarch 10, 2015Head coach James Giacomazzi and his Cosumnes River men’s basketball team capped another successful season, as the Hawks season concluded in the Northern California regional semifinals last week. The Hawks finish the regular season with a mark of 23-8, an appearance in the CCCAA Sweet 16, and a Big 8 conference championship.

HAWKS CLOSE REGULAR SEASON WITH 70-67 VICTORY OVER SANTA ROSAFebruary 21, 2015The Cosumnes River men’s basketball team wrapped up the regular season by winning their twelfth straight game, and their 22nd of the season, defeating Santa Rosa 70-67 before a raucous crowd on Sophomore Night. CRC closes out the regular season with a 22-7 overall record and winners of the 2014-15 Big 8 conference title

The Hawks remain in first place in the Big 8 conference, with a two game lead, and only four games to play.

LOVE'S 24 POINTS LEADS CRC OVER SIERRA 92-87January 16, 2015The Cosumnes River men’s basketball team defeated #17 Sierra College last night 92-87 in overtime, taking their second straight Big 8 conference contest and moving into a tie for second place in the conference standings. Sophomore guard Mitchell Love scored 24 points in the win, while forward David Straughter recorded his sixth double-double of the 2014-15 season.

MEN'S BASKETBALL ADDS TWO TO 2014-15 ROSTERApril 02, 2014Men’s basketball head coach James Giacomazzi announced today guards Kenneth Daye and Phil Morgan will enroll at Cosumnes River College this summer. The two players join a roster that returns four players and two redshirts from last year’s team that went 23-9, advanced to the CCCAA Sweet 16, and had a final ranking of #11 in the State according to the last coaches poll (2-17-14).
