Offense Explodes for 12-0 Victory at Home

Sacramento, CA - The Hawks hosted visiting Monterey Peninsula College in a reschedule of August 27th's game that was postponed due to COVID protocols. After Friday's tough loss, the Hawks rebounded to dominate on the offensive end with 12 goals. Luis Cruz-Perez tallied 3 goals in the match. Konnor Rowan racked up 2 of his own. Seven other Hawks were able to find the back of the net during this match. Isaac Sandoval, Brian Gutierrez, Ivan Flores Jimenez, Jordan Hongpackdy, Moshi Wilondja, Moises Arteaga, and Abel Rico Moreno were all able to contribute to the offensive onslaught by the CRC. Sandoval was also credited with an assist. In the goal, the Hawks were able to play a clean game with no balls finding the net. Eduardo Landin saved all 3 shots on goal by Monterey. Matt Phillips came off the bench and sucessfully saved the one shot against him.
