Following a stellar career at Cosumnes River College (CRC), pitcher Ashlee Toy has signed with Chico State University. Toy was a first team all-Big 8 player and was named the Big 8 Pitcher of the Year in 2022.  She was twice named the CCCAA state Pitcher of the Week in 2022. 

"I'm really excited for Ashlee. She is a great fit at Chico State," said head coach Kristy Schroeder. "She had a lot of options, but their program was really in need of high level-pitching and clearly Ashlee can fill that need for them."

Toy finished her lone full season at CRC with 21 wins, 187 strikeouts, and an ERA of 1.26--all of which were among the top ten in the state. Her efforts led the Hawks to a final ranking of seventh in the 3CFCA State Softball Poll and a berth in the CCCAA Super Regionals.
