Ten is Not Enough in Loss to Wolverines

ROCKLIN (3-12) – The Hawks traveled to Rocklin for the first game of their three game series against Sierra College. The Hawks fell to the Wolverines 13-10.

Offensively, the Hawks were led by Burle Dixon. Dixon was 4-5 with one RBI, scored once and had one stolen base. Mark Aubrey, Ryan Barry, Brett Graber and Griffin Selby had multi-hit games for the Hawks. Joey Pankratz had two hits as well including a two run home run. Essex Brown and Alex Crouch each had hits as well.

Ethan Torres started on the mound for the Hawks. Torres went 3.2 innings before the Hawks would go to their bullpen. Owen Hunt, Troy Davis, Griffin Selby, and Kyle Galart would all get the call to the mound.

The Hawks and the Wolverines will have game two of the Big 8 Conference series at Conway Field on Thursday. First pitch is at 2:30 pm.
