Personal:  Philip’s family includes dad Philip, mom Keri, sister Kimberly, and brothers Anderson, Marcus, and Jamey. He’s been playing basketball since he was 15 years old. He chose this sport because it’s the only thing that kept him out of trouble. His major is Communications. In his spare time he enjoys listening to music while stretching.

Athletic Highlights: 4 year varsity player, Tri-County Conference MVP, Division 4, 1^st Team All-State (Honorable Mention).

Significant Sport Achievement: In high school we won our league and division 4 section championship.

Most embarrassing thing that happened in his sport: Getting a technical in front of family members.

Favorite Teacher: My 4^th grade teacher, Mr. Stowers; he always took us on field trips.

Person he most admires: My mother, because she is very independent and works so hard at life to get better.

Person you would most like to meet: Jesus Christ, because he is the perfect person and can teach me so many great things.

Best Advice ever received: To always work hard and listen to the people that want to help better your life. Also, to pray.

Person who most influenced your athletic career: My mother, because she is poor but the hardest working person I know.
