After taking a 6-0 lead into the top of the 7th inning, The Hawks survived a late rally by Folsom Lake College to take a 6-4 win. 

Chelsea Martinez pitched 7 innings allowing 5 hits while striking out 7 and giving up 2 earned runs to pick up the win. Additionally, Martinez went 3 for 4 at the plate with 2 RBIs which included a solo home run. 

The rest of the offense was provided by Courtney Beatty who went 2 for 3 which included a solo home run and had 2 RBIs, Taelor Ford who went 2 for 2 with 2 RBIs, and Veronica Smith who went 2 for 3.

The Hawks are 11-4 on the season and 3-2 in conference play

The Hawks will host Butte College Thursday in non-conference games at CRC Stadium in a double header. Game 1 is scheduled to start at 12:00 pm. Fans can follow along on GameChanger.
