The 10^th ranked Cosumnes River College softball team remained in the hunt for the Big 8 title with a 7-2 victory over Folsom Lake College this afternoon.

Pitcher Tatiana Blas kept the Falcons in check until late in the game. She earned her 18^th win of the season while giving up only one hit and striking out six. Offensively, Malia Babasa led the Hawks going 3-4 with two RBI. Abigail Woodfill added two hits and two RBI while Sarah Babby went 2-3 and scored twice.  

"We had to make some early adjustments with our pitching, but after that we played well." Said head coach Kristy Schroeder. "Tatiana had a solid outing, and Malia had a great day at the plate."

CRC returns to action Friday when it hosts doubleheader against Sierra College.
