SACRAMENTO, Calif. - Cosumnes River College women's soccer coach Cesar Plasenciaannounced the program's 2015 schedule today.

The Hawks begin a brutal non-conference schedule later this month, which will continue through the end of September, when Big 8 conference play begins.  Cosumnes River will play 14 contests against Big 8 opponents this season, half of which will be at home.

CRC returns seven players from last season's team, which saw the Hawks make the postseason again and ended with the Hawks 3rd in the State of California and 12th in the National Poll. 

This year's schedule includes a tough collection of non-conference matches against Solano, Folsom Lake, Fresno City, San Francisco City College, Lake Tahoe and Evergreen Valley.  Matches begin with the Hawks home opener against Solano on Friday August 28.  That match is scheduled for a 4:00 PM start time.  They continue when the Hawks play host to visiting Folsom Lake College on Septemeber 1st.  This is a rematch of last year's first round playoff match up that saw the Hawks win 1-0, kick off for that match is scheduled for 4 PM.

CRC opens Big 8 competition on the road against rival Sierra College on September 25.  They'll return home the following Tuesday for their conference home opener against Diablo Valley College (Sept. 29).  

Cosumnes River will also host two night matches this season, which will be held at CRC Stadium.  The first one will see the Hawks host Big 8 foe Sierra College on October 23rd.  The final night match will take place on November 13, when the Hawks close out their conference schedule against American River College.  Both Kick Offs will be at 7:00 PM.
