For San Francisco, Jesse Bareilles scored in the 11th minute and it was a defensive struggle from there on out for the Hawks even though they had 19 shots in the second half, 13 of which were shots on goal.
Ariel Klink had three shots on goal in the match for the Hawks and Annalissa Lopez had two as the Hawks couldn't put one in the net in the second half with the forward pressure they forced.
Hawks goalie Elizabeth Kowalczyk was lonely on the day facing just three shots on goal, making two saves.
There where only two corner kicks in the match with both side having one each.
