The CRC Hawks played the conference opener at home against the unbeaten Folsom Lake Falcons and came away with a 2-0 loss.
The Hawks could only muster 2 shots on goal, those by Ariel Klink and Lauren Azevedo.
For the Hawks Elizabeth Kowalczyk had five saves in the seven shots on goal the Falcons took.
The Hawks are now 2-3-2 overall and 0-1-0 in conference play.
