SACRAMENTO, Calif. - With the new tennis season around the corner, Men's and Women's Tennis Coach Brandon Ellis has been recruiting players for each team, and one of those new recruits is Taylor Galya. In order to get to know one of the new members of the Hawks a little better, check out the list below that gives a view into her beginnings in tennis and some of her accomplishments over the years playing the sport.

-          She's been playing tennis since she was 6-years-old

-          Started USTA Tournaments at the age of 10

-          Was number one in girl's singles for 4 years at Liberty Ranch High School

-          Served as captain of the Liberty Ranch team for 3 years

-          Won All-League for 4 years

-          Got the All-City Patch

-          Won MVP of the league for 3 years

-          Won MVP of Liberty Ranch for 4 years

-          Won league tournament for 3 years

-          Was a sectionals finalist for 2 years

-          Won the Sac-Joaquin Section Individual Coed championship
