SACRAMENTO, Calif. – The 2013 Cosumnes River volleyball team wraps up their season tonight on sophomore night, when they close out the season against the Pirates of Modesto Junior College.  The match is scheduled to begin at 6:30 PM, with proceedings to honor the team's sophomores beforehand.

Tonight the team will honor three sophomores, and one freshman, as part of tonight's festivities.  Sophomores Candice Bohlmann, Gabi Hinz, and Laura Villano will all be honored by head coach Minet Gunther and her staff.  Freshman Jennifer Lysaght will also be honored as a part of sophomore night.  Although Lysaght is a freshman eligibility wise, she is graduating this year and will be transferring and the conclusion of the academic year.  Lysaght began her intercollegiate athletic career as a basketball player, and completed her eligibility last season as a member of the Hawks 2012-13 team.  Villano, a member of the 2013 CRC softball team, will have another season of softball eligibility remaining.

Come show your support for CRC volleyball tonight as they close out their 2013 season.  The match is slated to begin promptly at 6:30.  Tickets are $6 for general admission, $4 for seniors, and $2 for children.  Admission is always free for CRC students, staff and faculty.  Concessions will be available to purchase at the event.
