2013-14 marked the first year Coach Baxter entered the Club Volleyball scene, returning to her home town of Carmichael to coach with Sac Performance Volleyball Club under the direction of Curtis Gee.  Cassie was the 12-2 head coach and led a group of first year players to finish 5th out of 27 teams competing in the Area Division at Jackson Sports Academy.  For the 2014-15 club season, she has been promoted to the position of 17-1’s Power Head Coach.

A native of Sacramento, Baxter comes from an athletically gifted family.  Her parents, Bill and Michelle, are both former collegiate athletes and graduates of UC Davis.  Her Father retired from the local high school scene after serving 37 years as a Physical Education Teacher, Athletic Director and Varsity Girls’ Basketball Coach at El Camino High School earning a spot in the C.I.F. Coach Baxter is very excited for the opportunity provided to her by Athletic Director Liz Belyea and is looking forward to building a very successful volleyball program for the Hawks.
