Roadrunners Edged by Hawks, 87-84

Livermore, Calif. - Despite heading into the locker room knotted up at 41, the Butte men's basketball team was edged by Cosumnes River, 87-84, on Friday afternoon.

Sophomore Isaac Wood posted a game-high 23 points, shooting 5-for-8 from beyond the arc, with four rebounds and three assists. Sophomore Rolontae Knowles tallied his second double-double of the season with 10 points and 10 rebounds, adding a pair of assists. 

Three other Roadrunners found the double-digit column in scoring, led by sophomore Ozzy Meadows, who chipped in 17 points and five boards, while sophomore Keaton Massey tallied 15 points and five boards with sophomore Tanner Stephens counting 12 points off the bench.

The Roadrunners (0-2) will wrap up the Tony Costello Tip-Off Classic, hosted by Las Positas, on Saturday, Nov. 5 at 12 p.m.
