Folsom Lake Falls to Cosumnes River in Big 8 Conference Battle
Sacramento - In a doubleheader at Cosumnes River College, the Folsom Lake College Falcons faced a formidable opponent in the Cosumnes River Hawks in Big 8 Conference action. Unfortunately for the Falcons, they couldn't overcome the Hawks' offensive onslaught, falling 8-0 in the first game.
The Falcons struggled to find their rhythm at the plate, managing only one hit in the game. The pitching staff also faced a tough challenge, with Aila Lyden, Isabella Robinson, and Jazlyn Basquez combining efforts to contain the Hawks' powerful lineup. However, Cosumnes River's Abigail Woodfill and Avery Jolley played pivotal roles, contributing to a commanding victory.
Despite the tough loss in the first game, the Falcons looked to regroup and rebound in the second game of the doubleheader.
