SACRAMENTO, Calif. – The 2025 3C2A Northern California Women's Beach Volleyball Pairs Regionals is set to take place at Cosumnes River College on May 2–3, marking the first major event to be held at the college's newly opened CRC Beach Volleyball Complex.
This highly anticipated event will feature 32 of the top pairs from across Northern California, all vying for a chance to qualify for the prestigious 3C2A Championships. As the premier showcase of elite collegiate talent in Northern California community college beach volleyball, the championship promises two days of fast-paced, high-level action.
CRC's new beach volleyball facility is already making a strong impression within the campus and local community.
"Not only have our athletes loved the new facility, we already have a ton of interest from the students," said Kari Nahlen, head beach volleyball coach. "Being able to bring such a nice facility has brought new opportunity for our community and students to participate in a sport that many would not have otherwise."
The 3C2A Northern California Regionals will serve as a landmark event for the college and the broader Sacramento region.
"We are thrilled to open our new Beach Volleyball Complex with an event of this caliber," said Collin Pregliasco, Dean of Kinesiology, Health, and Athletics and Athletic Director at Cosumnes River College. "Our facility was built to meet the needs of the local community while providing new sports and recreation opportunities - from community to youth to women's athletics. This event is just the beginning of what we hope to bring to the South Sacramento and Elk Grove area."
The tournament is expected to attract fans, families, and volleyball enthusiasts from across the region, adding visibility to the sport and to CRC's state-of-the-art complex.
Additional details regarding ticketing, parking, and event coverage will be announced in the coming days.
