Clark Court
Initially constructed as a join effort between Cosumnes River College, the Sacramento Kings and the Sacramento Sports Association, the main gymnasium is one of the premier athletics facilities in the region.
Originally completed in 2000, Clark Court is named in honor of Hall of Fame basketball coach James Clark. On July 6, 2023, marking the 20th anniversary of his passing, Cosumnes River College unveiled a redesigned court to celebrate a true Hawks legend. Clark served as the Men’s Basketball Head Coach from 1972 to 2003, compiling an impressive 31-year tenure being the longest in school history. He was later inducted into both the Cosumnes River College Hall of Fame and the California Community College Men’s Basketball Coaches Association Hall of Fame.
Clark Court currently serves as the home court for the Cosumnes River Men's and Women's Basketball teams, as well as the college's Volleyball team. With two levels of seating, the gym holds approximately 1500 fans for Hawks contests.
Clark Court is also host to a number of Kinesiology and Physical Education classes during the academic year.
With its large holding capacity and first-class, free-floating hardwood surface, Clark Court has been the destination of choice for basketball champions since its construction.
In addition to hosting Cosumnes River College Men's and Women's Basketball playoff games, the site has twice served as the host site for the 3C2A Men's and Women's State Basketball Championships (2012, 2013).
Clark Court has also served as the host site for the CIF Sac-Joaquin section boys and girls playoffs for both Basketball and Volleyball.
