Sac City roared out to a 41-28 halftime lead and never looked back in taking a 79-67 Big 8 victory over the Hawks.

The Panthers held Leondre Lintz in check with just 10 points on the night.

Jordan Roberson was the leader for CRC with 18 points after being held scoreless in the first half, and Robert Tolbert added 15 for the Hawks.

Both Dé Rajaee Austin and Raymund Gonzalvo added 9 points apiece for the Hawks.

With the loss the Hawks fall to 12-13 on the year and are 3-7 in Big 8 action.

Next up for the Hawks is a road trip to play American River College on Tuesday the 7th and a trip up the hill to Sierra on Thursday the 9th. Both games start at 7:30.
