For the 5th straight season, the Hawks competed for the James Clark Classic championship title. Unfortunately, CRC fell short to NorCal ranked #11 Las Positas College. CRC beat LPC in the 1st round of the John Mogue Memorial Tournament @ Mendocino College a few weeks prior. In today's championship game, CRC held the lead the entire way until the final 2:00 remaining. LPC took a one-point lead by going 2-for-2 from the free-throw line and a nailing a corner 3-pointer. LPC led by 3 with 16 seconds remaining, CRC had a good looking 3-point attempt rim out. After fouling LPC to stop the clock, they went 1-for-2 from the free throw line. On the next possession, CRC missed the next 3-point shot attempt. The game ended with a 4-point loss to LPC. CRC moves to 4-4 on the year. Our next game is at the Modesto Tournament vs. Cuesta College on Wednesday, December 6th at 9:00pm.
