SACRAMENTO (1-25) - Winter break has been completed and the spring semester has just begun. The men's basketball team showed great success in the classroom during the fall semester.

Our players' commitment to their academic success and valuing their college education is crucial to their future in life and basketball. The team grade point average is 2.85 which is third highest in the athletics department for the 2018 fall semester.

Samuel Cota (4.0 GPA) and Khari Hutt (3.57 GPA) led the way academically. Five players were above a 3.0 GPA and several others had above a 2.0 GPA. All fourteen active players got the job done academically.

During head coach Jonathan James' three-year tenure, the team's grade point average has risen every season. We are very proud of all of our men's basketball student-athletes.
