Personal:  Jacob’s family includes his dad R’lyeh, mom Laura, and his brothers Dillon and Griffin. He was 5 when he started playing soccer and he chose the sport because he felt like it gave him the best chance to play the longest. Jacob is majoring in Nursing because he wants to be a certified Registered Nurse of Anesthesiology or Oncology. In his spare time he enjoys hanging out with his family and working out.

Athletic Highlights: All Conference first team, 3 years varsity player, 3 years varsity captain, defensive player of the year Franklin High, team MVP Franklin High.

Significant achievement in his sport: Finally beating Davis High after 6 tries.

Quote that inspires him: “There may be people that have more talent than you, but there’s no excuse for anyone to work harder than you do.”

Who he admires the most: My father because he taught me that life is more than just sports. He grew up with no parents and went to Sac City and eventually UC Davis, graduating at the top of his class at both with a Masters Degree. On top of it he did this with no support other than himself.

Best thing about being a Hawk: The opportunity to play college soccer with new teammates and bring home a conference championship.
