Once again for the Hawks and their opponent, all the scoring was done in the first half and the second half was a defensive stalemate as Hartnell held off the Hawks.

Preston Magonigal scored the lone goal for CRC on a penalty kick to end the first half scoring. The goal was Magonigal's third of the season, his second on a penalty kick, one of two he had on the evening. Magonigal has scored three times this year on just five shots.

Alexander Mercado was in goal for the Hawks saving five of the seven shots he faced from the Panthers. Mercado's record is now 1-1 on the season with a save percentage of .714 and a goals against average of 2.00.
