This Week: The #6 seed Hawks will take on the #22 seed Las Positas College Hawks in the second round of the 2022 CCCAA Men's Soccer Championship. The second round starts on Saturday and the match-up is at 11 am

Scouting Las Positas: The Hawks had a 7-9-4 record overall and a 2-7-2 record in Coast Conference-South Division play. Three players (Griffin LaFluer, Colin Miller and Edwin Zabala) had five goals apiece. Sean Miller led the Hawks with 10 saves.

Scouting the Hawks: The Hawks had a 12-4-4 overall record and a 6-2-2 record in Big 8 Conference play. Cosumnes River won the Big 8 Conference Championship for the second consecutive season. Isaac Sandoval led the Hawks with eight goals. Johnnie White led the Hawks with 79 saves.

Last Time Out: The two teams have not played each other this season. The two teams have seven common opponents – American River College, De Anza College, Evergreen Valley College, Hartnell College, Modesto Junior College, Monterey Peninsula College and Santa Rosa Junior College. Cosumnes River was 6-2-2 against those opponents while Las Positas was 1-5-2.
