Personal: Abigail’s family includes dad Thomas, mom Jodi, Isabella, William, Sophia, Lucy, and Olivia (on the team). Abigail started playing softball when she was eight and she was eight and she wasn’t the one to pick. When she hit ten years old, she did have to choose between soccer and softball. She liked to catch more than play soccer so softball won! Abigail is majoring in Biology, she wants to be a doctor. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, hiking, writing, drawing, reading, watching tv ( Anime) listening to music, and going to the movies.

Athletic Highlights:  3-year varsity HS player

Most significant achievement in softball: She was catcher and made a diving catch on a foul ball and caught it. It saved the game and they got to move to being in National.

The most embarrassing thing that has ever happened to her in softball:  First practice at Granite Bay and she tripped on her own shoelace fielding a ball on her left side and she had to ninja roll to get out.

Favorites:

Food:  Steak and mashed potatoes Movie: Harry Porter and the prisoner of Azkaban

Entertainer: tom Hiddleston Athlete: Jenny Topping

Quote that inspires her: “Today will die tomorrow”

Person she admires most:  she said that there are so many people to choose from! She would have to say (softball themed) Jenny Topping. She is an awesome catches/player in general and an AMAZING coach. She’s just an awesome person to everyone.

Best advice ever received:  always push to be better than the girl next to you. Even if you think you suck; buckle down, work hard and one day you will surpass that girl mentally, physically, emotionally because you worked harder than she did to get there, then look for the next challenge.

Person who most influenced her athletic career:  Her mom

One word that best describes her off the court:  Dreamer
