Personal: Carly’s family includes father George, mom Lori and sister Lindsay. Carly started playing softball when her dad took her to sign up for cheerleading , but they were late for sign ups. As much as she didn’t want, her father made her play and she played ever since. She is majoring in sociology. In her spare time, Carly enjoys spending time with friends and family, being outdoors, hunting, shooting, wakeboarding and jet skiing

Athletic Highlights:  All conference. Second team 2011,2012. All conference. First team 2013. 3-year varsity player on Optimist Allstar team, won “heart of the warrior” award two years in a row, Louis Listini Inpiration Athlete award, Marine Corps's recognized Athlete 2013.

Most significant achievement in softball: Playing on the 2014 optimist Allstar team

The most embarrassing thing that has ever happened to her in softball:  when she was catching, she blocked a ball and couldn’t find it anywhere. The runners were running and it was in her chest protector the whole time.

Favorite teacher:  Mr. White in her high school who is an agriculture teacher, because he really wanted his students to succeed  in both school and life. He truly cared about all his students.

Best advice ever received:  you only get out what you put in-no great achievement is achieved easily.

Person who most influenced her athletic career:  Her family for always supporting her and encouraging her.

Best thing about being a Hawk:  “The way everyone treats everyone like family.”
