Personal: Kaitlin’s family includes dad Tony Pires, mom Barbara Pires, sister Samantha Pires, Kylie Pires and Vanessa Pires. She started playing softball when she was five years old. She didn’t like anything else when she was little so she stuck with it. Kaitlin is majoring in Kinesiology, she hopes to be a physical therapist and open her own practice. In her spare time, she enjoys shopping, hanging out with friends and sleeping.

Athletic Highlights:  4 year varsity player, DVC Champions 3 out of 4 years

Most significant achievement in softball: Freshman year playing in championship game against Sheldon in playoffs

The most embarrassing thing that has ever happened to her in softball:  Running off the field in between innings and tripping on her shoelace.
