Personal:  Kaniya’s family includes mom Kenya, dad Shaun, sisters Kerris and Carrie, and brother Shaun Jr. She’s been playing basketball all of her life pretty much. She chose this sport because her dad introduced it to her. Her major is Sport Meds. She aspires to become a WNBA player.  In her spare time she enjoys Instagram, sleeping, and hanging out with friends.

Most embarrassing thing that happened in her sport: I was trying to save the ball from going out of bounds and throw it in and hit an opposing teammate in the face.
