Trina Shaner led the Hawks with 18 points including a 5 of 9 night from three point land, easily one of her best shooting nights on the season.

Daija Ward of the Hawks added 14 points and collected 10 rebounds for the double-double. Jasmine Chapman had seven points while Gina Ingravallo and Nayani Gordon had 6 apiece for the Hawks.

The Hawks had one of their better shooting nights from beyond the arc as they hit 9 of 15 for 60% but only 14 of 49 from the rest of the field for just 28%. Sac City also dominated on the boards with a 52-22 advantage.

The Hawks played the Panthers well in the first and fourth quarters but that didn't overcome the middle part of the game as the Hawks lost on Sac City's home court dropping to 1-3 in conference play and 5-12 overall.
