SACRAMENTO (1-29) – The Hawks returned home to take on Folsom Lake College in Sacramento. The Hawks defeated the Falcons 71-70 in the final seconds.

From tip-off to the final buzzer, this was an extremely close game. The Hawks led 35-31 at halftime. With multiple lead changes throughout, it came down to the final possession. 

Sheniah Castex, Brookelyn Larkin and Alexzia Liddell had steals in the final three minutes. Larkin had a game high twenty-nine points and nine rebounds. Larkin also made her final two free throws which put the Hawks up by one with three seconds left and grabbed the steal on the last Falcons' possession. Arionna Butts scored twenty-three points and five rebounds of her own. 

The Hawks struggled as a team from the free throw line shooting 65%. The Hawks had seventeen steals, four of which came from Alexzia Liddell. 

The next game for the Hawks is Friday as they take on San Joaquin Delta College in Stockton at 5:30 pm.
