SACRAMENTO (9-21) - The Hawks' women's soccer team, now 1-2-1, started strong on offense when Alexandria Torres took a shot from top of the eighteen yard box putting the ball in the net. Claire Burkhart was credited with the assist.  The Hawks were sitting on top of the Beavers at halftime 1-0.

Early in the second half, Savannah Tijerin-Santos tied the game for the Beavers in the 51st minute. A few minutes later in the match, Tijerino-Santos was sent off the field with a red card. The Beavers were able to find the back of the net on a Kai Cooper shot to give the Beavers a 2-1 lead. The Hawks continued to play hard and fought for the equalizer that later came in the match in extra time off the foot of Torres. The physical match concluded in a 2-2 draw.

The Hawks will host Folsom Lake College on Tuesday in Sacramento.
