SACRAMENTO (10-23) – Cosumnes River hosted American River in Big 8 Conference play. The Hawks and Beavers played to a 1-1 draw.

In the first half, the Hawks would get on the scoreboard first. In the 33^rd minute of play, Alexis Brown would score from the top of the box to give the Hawks a 1-0 lead. The Hawks outshot the Beavers 8-2 in the first half. Tanayjah Tamano was not forced to make any saves in the first 45 minutes of play.

In the second half, the Beavers tie the match in the 85^th minute on a Mia Jaraba header off a Shelby Geisler corner kick. The match ended in a 1-1 draw. 

The next match for the Hawks will be on Friday as they take on Folsom Lake College in Folsom. Kickoff is set for 3:30 pm.
