Rocklin, Calif. The Lady Hawks traveled to Sierra College to take on highly ranked Sierra College in the Hawks last road game of the regular season. 

 

The Lady Hawks went down early in the first half 0-2 in the first 15minutes of the match. That did not discourage the Hawks as they fought back and in the 30th minute freshmen Helaina Garcia put the Hawks on the board. The game opened up at the point and both teams created chances on goal. The game could have gone either teams way, but in the 40th minute Sierra scores again making it a 1-3 lead headed into the half. 

 

The 2nd half couldn't have started better for the Hawks as Ashley Blake scored her 2nd goal of the season in the 49th minutes. With the score 2-3 the Lady Hawks took control of the game. Creating countless chances on goals. The 2nd half flew by as both teams got up and down the field creating chances. The Hawks had the better chances in the 2nd half and unfortunately were unable to find a 3rd goal that would tie up the match. The Lady Hawks gave a valiant effort and can hold their heads up high as they had Sierra worried they whole 2nd half. 

 

Next up for the Lady Hawks are the last 2 home games of the regular season. The Hawks will host Diablo Valley College on Tuesday at 3pm. Sophomore night will be Friday November 15th at 7pm. The Hawks will host Folsom Lake College.
