Sacramento, California. Lady Hawks hosted Diablo Valley College in their first Big 8 match of the season.
Lady Hawks got out to an early lead when in the 8th minute the sophomore Jaeda Wilson gets on the end of a cross from freshman Kylie Onatanian. The second goal of the match came when Lakshmi Vallbhaneni got a ball from Madisyn Hultgren, and she then beat 3 DVC defenders to place the ball in the back of net in the 39th minute. The first half goals did not end there when Madisyn Hultgren got on the end of a cross from freshman Abby Sabedra. Lady Hawks lead 3-0 at the end of the first half. Sophomore Nariyah O'Brien got her first goal of the game in the 57th minute on a shot from distance. O'Brien got a second goal in the match in the 76th minute when Abby Sabedra crossed a ball that O'Brien finished first time.
Next up for the 6-3-3 Lady Hawks they will host Sierra College on Friday at 3:30.
