Personal: Megan’s family includes dad Christopher Lapomardo, step dad Kevin Benefield, mom Veronica Benefield, and step mom Ofelia Lapomardo. Megan was fifteen years old when she started swimming. She chose it because she loved water polo that her step dad forced her to play, but she loved it and fell in love with swimming. Megan is majoring in biology and one day, she will become a vet. In her spare time, she loves to shop with friends and workout with her boyfriend Richard Barajas
