Taylor Galya improved her overall record to 7-2 for the season (4-1) in conference to establish
herself as a top player in Northern California. She cruised to a 6-0, 6-0 victory in singles against
College of the Sequoias. Only a freshman, Taylor continues to elevate her game as she adjusts to
the speed and power of the college level. Both the men's and women's team continue to evolve,
developing more competency in doubles play, and improving on mental toughness. Coach Ellis
remarked: "even though every week we face more experienced, more tournament-tested
opponents, we are incrementally improving and nearing the point where close matches will go
our way. The psychological component of winning shouldn't be understated-believing you
belong is the first step, believing you belong in the winner's circle is where we want to be."
