FRESNO (3-8) - Cosumnes River started a two match Big 8 Conference-South Division road trip as they took on Fresno City College in Fresno. The Hawks lost 8-0 to the Rams.

This match is a rematch of a match that was played on February 12^th in Sacramento which saw the Rams defeat the Hawks 9-0. In their last match, the Hawks won 9-0 over College of the Sequoias yesterday in Sacramento while the Rams lost 7-0 to NCAA Division I member Fresno State University in Fresno on Saturday.

The Rams won all six singles matches that were played. Two matches - the #3 singles match between Evelyn Bravo of Cosumnes River and Roxy Sandoval of Fresno City and the #5 singles match between Byanka Alvarez of the Hawks and Veronica Orozco of the Rams - resulted in the Rams' representatives winning 6-0, 6-0. Two matches - the #1 singles match between Angela Hurtado of Cosumnes River and Molly Amico of Fresno City and the #4 singles match between Hannah Dinkins of the Hawks and Maddie Dick of the Rams – had the Rams' players win 6-0, 6-1. The tightest singles match was the #4 singles match between Hannah Dinkins of Cosumnes River and Maddie Dick of Fresno City. Dick defeated Dinkins 6-2, 6-0.

The Rams won all three doubles match. Two matches - the #1 doubles match between Dinkins and Hurtado of the Hawks and Amico and Le of the Rams and the #2 doubles match between Bravo and Prasad of Cosumnes River and Janigian and Sandoval of Fresno City – had the Rams' representatives win 8-0. The #3 doubles match was won by the Rams via forfeit.
