Personal:  Tierra’s family includes dad Robert, mom Michelle, and siblings Tiffany and Tyreke.  She started playing volleyball when she was a freshman in high school. She chose this sport because as she’d watched her siblings play before it looked fun and attainable. Her major is Psychology/Art, a double major. She aspires to become an art therapist.  In her spare time she enjoys singing, drawing, painting, snacking, watching NCIS, playing volleyball anywhere, and hanging out with friends.

Athletic Highlights: Four years varsity, CO-MVP, All First Team junior and senior years of high school, Most Improved Freshman year at CRC.

Significant Sport Achievement:  Starting Freshman at CRC.

Most embarrassing thing that happened in her sport: Tried to block a ball at playoffs my senior year of high school and the ball smacked me on the top of my head.

Favorite Teacher: Professor Zisk, psychology, because he was hilarious and made every lecture interesting and fun.

Person she most admires: My mom because she has modeled the utmost strength and endurance for me to follow.

Person you would most like to meet: The President, because he seems real down to earth and interesting to talk to.

Best Advice ever received:  Don’t always take no for an answer.

Person who most influenced your athletic career:  My high school volleyball coach, Aaron Pollock.

One word that describes her off the court: adaptable

Best thing about being a Hawk: We become close knit, like a second family.
