Personal:  Alexis’ family includes dad Les, stepmom Sunnye, stepsister Kaitlin, mom Kim, sister Ashlee, and brother Xavier. She started playing volleyball in 7^th grade. She chose this sport because that’s what all the cool girls did and she wanted to be cool. She hopes to earn her degree in Real Estate and maybe one day flip houses.  In her spare time she enjoys working at Capitol Kids (the children’s ministry for her church).

Significant Sport Achievement: Making the college team after not playing for over two years.

Most embarrassing thing that happened in her sport: I hit a ball so hard into the opposing team’s block it smacked me in the face and gave me a bloody nose.

Favorites: Food: Avocado Egg Sandwich Movie: I like too many.

Person she most admires: Jesus. He helped me turn my life completely around and now as I am pursuing my dreams, and they are my reality!

Best Advice ever received: “The squeaky wheel is the one that gets the grease.” Be persistent and always ask questions because the one who keeps pushing forward is the one who makes progress.
