Personal:  Lauren’s family includes mom Karen and dad Doug. She started playing volleyball when she was 13 years old. She chose this sport because they played it in PE and she really enjoyed playing it. Also, she tried basketball and volleyball was better than basketball. Her major is undecided. In her spare time she enjoys reading, shopping, stand-up paddle boarding, biking, hanging out with friends, and watching TV.

Athletic Highlights: Captain senior and sophomore years, All-League Academic Honors (two years), Coach’s Award (senior year), Runners-Up two years, Section Title.

Significant Sport Achievement: Receiving Coach’s Award senior year.

Most embarrassing thing that happened in her sport: I went for a shanked ball during a club tournament and landed in someone’s lap, but I still got the ball up.
