The Hawks came out and put in a solid effort against the Claim Jumpers of Columbia College and came out victorious in three sets. Erica Valencia got to see her first action of the season after recovering from some injuries sustained during practices. The front line of Hanna Norris, Meg Maddalena, and Olivia Sowles contributed 23 of the teams 31 kills. The Hawks had a solid game from the serve line, combing for 8 service aces during the 3 set match.

Next up for the Hawks after the evenings action is the beginning of conference play as Diablo Valley visits the Hawks nest. The Hawks are trying to snap a long conference loss streak and the Vikings first in line for that opportunity
