Hawks don't make it easy for Sierra in 3-1 loss.

Sierra College won three of four games against CRC by 25-17 scores with a 26-24 Hawks victory in game three in between as the Hawks dropped to 0-2 in Big 8 play. Sierra is now 2-0 and 8-3 overall on the year.

Hannah Norris had 12 kills on the night followed closely by Meg Maddalena and Olivis Sowles with six each for the Hawks. Lauren Smith continued her stellar play with 21 of the Hawks 23assists on the evening while Keilani Gaither and Maya Young had 13 digs apiece followed by Justine Busse with 9 of her own as the Hawks had 50 digs on the night.

Next up for the Hawks is a road maych at Sac Cits on Wednesday against the Big 8 leader who are 11-0 on the season and 3-0 in conference play. SCC is one of two unbeaten Volleyball teams in the state. The match is at 6:30 on the Sac City campus.
