Two days after being swept by Sierra, the Hawks took on the Sac City Panthers at home in the CAC.

The Hawks took it on the chin in the 3-0 loss by scores of 25-17, 25-17, and 25-18. 

Hannah Norris had 8 kills for the Hawks and Olivia Sowles had six while Meg Maddalena chipped in with four. 

Maya Young led the Hawks with seven digs while both Smith and Sowles had six each. Norris and Justine Busse each added four for the Hawks.

Smith led the Hawks with 12 assists for the match.

The Hawks drop to 5-16 overall and are still on a quest for the elusive, initial Big 8 victory.

Next up for the Hawks is a Wednesday road match against San Joaquin Delta at 6:30 pm.
