Pires Breaks School Record as Hawks Fall to Mustangs

STOCKTON (10-24) -The Hawks took to the road to take on San Joaquin Delta College in Stockton. The Mustangs defeated the Hawks 3-1.

The Hawks' offensive attack was led by Taryn Oberle who led the Hawks with six kills on fourteen attempts for .357 hit percentage. Abigail Hicks led the Hawks with thirteen digs. Sophomore Elizabeth Smith earned two solo blocks and participated in three assisted blocks.

Kylie Pires picked up six kills, which give her 245 kills on the season which is a new school record for kills in a single season for the Hawks. Hicks picked up two service aces, tying the school record of forty-two service aces in a season. Rebakkah McLaughlin needs nine assists to set the new school record in assists in a season.
