In his second year of being an assistant coach at Cosumnes River College (CRC), Daniel Krum is entering his fourteenth year of coaching. Before he was at CRC, he coached high school and travel softball for five years. Coach Krum’s primary job is field maintenance. Whether that be to water it, get the infield ready to go, or just make sure everything is in place for the girls, he is the person for the job. When he is not working on the field, he is an outfield and hitting coach for the team, but helps out the team in any way he can. His number one goal is to help the girls succeed as softball players and in life after softball.
Off the field, Daniel Krum works in sales. Coach Krum is married to his wife, Lanette, and they have two children, Ryley and Mason. Ryley played golf and softball for the Hawks that past two years. Mason is a four-year varsity golfer.
